FourthLine are currently working with an Global payments processing business who are building their GDPR readiness Programme.

They are looking for a Data Protection Assistant to join their programme. The role will report into C-Level and has a truly broad scope, with offices based all around the globe.

Key Deliverables of the Role:

  • Writing Data Protection Policy across the business
  • Creating and maintaining project documentation
  • Design and deliver training materials across the business

Necessary Experience required:

  • Legally Qualified
  • Previous experience creating Data Protection policies and procedures
  • Inter-business reporting: Exposure to numerous business teams
  • Practical experience in data protection and privacy - advising on policy
  • IAPP or CIPP qualified (ideal)
  • Knowledge of US Privacy Shield (ideal)

I'm looking to find the next Senior Data Privacy Specialist to work for a revolutionary FS business based across North Wiltshire/Swindon area.

This position will be a full-time position as part of a small, but quickly growing, office and will be paying £50,000.

Data Protection Officer

A multi-billion pound technology organisation, with over 20,000+ staff members across the world, are looking to hire their new Data Protection Officer.

This B2B company, based in North Wiltshire (with excellent flexible working available) are paying up to 60,000 p/a. The successful candidate will initially begin smaller scale by managing their UK data protection requirements with a small team, before developing into the management of the company’s EU privacy requirements, and eventually their global function over time.

This very well invested and well supported GDPR change program has been in operation for a period of time, and the incoming DPO will required to manage their migration from this into a more business-as-usual structure.

You will have…

  • a deep knowledge of data protection, GDPR and other surrounding relevant regulatory requirements;
  • experience working within data management/information risk in a large-scale B2B organisation;
  • the expectation of driving the company’s privacy program throughout the business;
  • communication with senior management and stakeholders regularly;
  • a dynamic approach when viewing what data protection requirements that the company has;
  • the responsibility of being the go-to person for all data protection queries and advice;
  • a team to manage, and expectations over time to grow the team;
  • experience leading an audit program
  • a vision for their future global privacy strategy and will create a roadmap to get to them there.

The successful candidate will be…

  • someone with experience managing a privacy team or can demonstrate that they are ready to manage a team;
  • the subject matter expert on privacy and GDPR;
  • experienced with multiple jurisdictions around the world within a multinational/global company within a privacy role;
  • has a good understanding or how a global privacy function operates;
  • a strong leader of their entire privacy function and has the confidence in their knowledge to make decisions by themselves;
  • open to occasional travel, when required.
