CASS Governance Contract

***New CASS contract*** Initially 3 months - Immediate Start South West UK Very competitive day rate. I am representing an excellent client based in the South West whom are looking to on board a contractor to support their CASS office with some ongoing Governance improvements. This will be an interesting and varied position supporting the CF10a and wider Finance, Operations and Risk teams.

The role will be key to:

  • Supporting the improvement of CASS governance, through formailsing and embedding risk appetite
  • Creating and delivering the appropriate committees for robust CASS oversight
  • Helping collate timely, sufficient and appropriate CASS MI to deliver to relevant stakeholders
  • Assisting in CASS remediation exercises and be integral to CASS audit preparations
  • Strengthening existing rules mapping and procedures under the FRC assurance audit standards
  • Making enhancements to the clients CASS RP and CMAR reporting
  • Helping with the oversight of outsourced custodian.

Data Protection Officer

£50000 - £60000

A multi-billion pound technology organisation, with over 20,000+ staff members across the world, are looking to hire their new Data Protection Officer.

This B2B company, based in North Wiltshire (with excellent flexible working available) are paying up to 60,000 p/a. The successful candidate will initially begin smaller scale by managing their UK data protection requirements with a small team, before developing into the management of the company’s EU privacy requirements, and eventually their global function over time.

This very well invested and well supported GDPR change program has been in operation for a period of time, and the incoming DPO will required to manage their migration from this into a more business-as-usual structure.

You will have…

  • a deep knowledge of data protection, GDPR and other surrounding relevant regulatory requirements;
  • experience working within data management/information risk in a large-scale B2B organisation;
  • the expectation of driving the company’s privacy program throughout the business;
  • communication with senior management and stakeholders regularly;
  • a dynamic approach when viewing what data protection requirements that the company has;
  • the responsibility of being the go-to person for all data protection queries and advice;
  • a team to manage, and expectations over time to grow the team;
  • experience leading an audit program
  • a vision for their future global privacy strategy and will create a roadmap to get to them there.

The successful candidate will be…

  • someone with experience managing a privacy team or can demonstrate that they are ready to manage a team;
  • the subject matter expert on privacy and GDPR;
  • experienced with multiple jurisdictions around the world within a multinational/global company within a privacy role;
  • has a good understanding or how a global privacy function operates;
  • a strong leader of their entire privacy function and has the confidence in their knowledge to make decisions by themselves;
  • open to occasional travel, when required.
