I'm working with a Fintech firm in London who are looking to identify a Senior Privacy Manager to join the firm as soon as possible on a permanent.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the firm and ensure it is compliant with GDPR and other Privacy legislation.
  • Provide support across the business reviewing, updating and developing policies and procedures.
  • Carry out DPIA's and provide advice on marketing strategies.
  • Advise on cross-border data transfers.
  • Aid the Compliance team by providing guidance on how they should handle SAR's.
  • Act as the key point of contact for Data Protection issues within the business as well as any complaints and queries from Data Subjects.
  • Provide Training and Guidance on all aspects of Data Protection & Data Privacy.

 

Essential:

  • Demonstrable experience of acting as a Privacy Officer.
  • A minimum of 6 years pure Privacy experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of UK and European Data Privacy legal requirements.
  • Strong influencing skills and able to build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Private Sector background.

 

Desirable:

  • Background in the Financial Services.
  • ISEB or equivalent qualification i.e. CIPP/E or CIPM.

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 dependent on experience
