Fourthline are assisting a global FCA regulated media and telecoms company in their urgent search for a Senior Compliance Manager to join the busy Risk and Compliance team.
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, with flexible hours and home-working option.
Start Date: 30th November 2018
Location: London
The ideal candidate will:

  • Have vast experience working within a regulated financial business
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of recent Consumer Credit regulations and policies
  • Experience designing and implementing Risk and Compliance frameworks
  • Knowledge of embedding a 3LOD model into a regulated business
  • Experience reporting in board meetings and working alongside C-suite members and Senior Stakeholders.
  • Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the Consumer Credit FCA Regulations, to act as a point of contact for all regulatory matters.
  • Be able to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience of people management/leading a team.


Main responsibilities of the role would include:

  • Continued monitoring and development of new and existing risk frameworks
  • Management of 2x Risk and Compliance analysts
  • Embedding a 3LOD model across the business
  • Developing the ongoing compliance monitoring programme
  • Manage liaison between the regulator and the Compliance team.

Fourthline are assisting our client, a legal services firm in their search for a Senior Risk and Compliance Officer. The role will be based in Hertfordshire, North London.
Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience working within a Compliance or risk management function, for a legal services firm;
  • Experience drafting, implementing and monitoring Compliance standards throughout the business;
  • Knowledge of SRA Handbook, particularly the requirements for the SRA Code of Conduct, as well as anti-money laundering regulations;
  • Ability to provide assistance and guidance, in accordance with the COLP and COFA, relating back to the risk management of the business.

FourthLine are currently working with a small, London based, Fintech Mortgage firm who are currently seeking a Head of Compliance as part of continued growth of the business now entering its fourth year of trading.

This is a 3-6 month initial contract and the client has asked us to specifically target Compliance experts who have a proven track record within FinTech startup with a successful background within Mortgages.

Due to the nature of this opportunity, it is essential that the successful candidate can "hit the ground running" and quickly demonstrate a pragmatic approach when advising on the "grey areas" of Compliance regulations within the industry.

Although this is initially a short-term contract, depending on continued growth and a successful placement, the client has also requested candidates who have the ability to build and manage a team which suggests potential of a long-term investment in the case of a successful hire.

Additional duties will include: -

  • Setting up new Lending Compliance Function
  • Assisting with FCA application
  • Controlled Function (once approval granted)

Head of Compliance (CF10/11)

£100000 - £140000 per annum pension, healthcare, flexi-working

Fourthline are working with a fin-tech lending business, as they search for a Head Compliance to join the business at their offices located in Central London. This exciting and hands-on role will report directly to the CRO and will have oversight of the growing Compliance function.
The ideal candidate will:

  • Have existing experience working within regulated financial services, ideally within a Consumer Lending background,
  • Thorough knowledge of recent Consumer Credit (CONC) regulations,
  • Knowledge and understanding of implementing, embedding and managing Compliance frameworks,
  • Involvement working with C-suite members and senior stakeholders,
  • Willingness to get involved in the wider business and work across teams to ensure compliance with new and existing regulations,
  • Previous experience holding Control Function for CF10/11 is ideal, and Data Protection/GDPR experience desirable.
