FourthLine are working with a pharmaceutical company in Reading who are looking to bring on a GDPR SME.

Role overview:

  • Support the project manager, in the formulation and maintenance of project plans by providing subject matter expertise around required activities, timescales and resource requirements.
  • Responsible for providing day-to-day advice on common data protection issues to IS and advice on best practice for data protection risk mitigation measures
  • Responsible for the:
    • completion of the privacy impact assessments
    • updating and maintaining data inventories
    • Support the creation of the personal data flow map (for business processes)
    • Creation of data protection training materials, and for providing data privacy training.
    • Support the accurate capture of data protection risks arising from the project process
    • Responsible for the identification of the data protection controls that are appropriate to support GDPR ongoing assurance.
    • Support the creation of remediation plans (where required) based on the data protection controls identified

  • Responsible for the management of the firm’s data privacy sharepoint site which acts as a data protection portal to the firm globally
    • Content management
    • Access control
    • Additional data protection material to support the firm internally
  • Support internal Legal teams in resolving issues such as questions arising from business process and technical matters.
  • Support Legal teams in drafting agreements and data protection notifications by reference to the personal data application inventory
  • Support the effective capture of metrics that indicate the health of data protection compliance in the firm across Europe.
  • Support the analysis and reporting of the firm's data protection related incident trends through the use of metrics
