FourthLine are currently working with one of the UK's largest specialist retailers. They are looking for a Data Protection Consultant to join their legal team and help maintain and grow their existing GDPR Programme.

Key Skills (essential):

  • Direct experience working on a Data Protection/GDPR programme
  • Policy drafting and implementation experience
  • Draft model clause experience and legal contracts exposure
  • Delivered DP/GDPR training modules to different business units
  • Strong experience of data breach management process
  • SAR process definition and handling
  • Experience around both customer and employee data work streams

Key Skills (desirable):

  • Retail sector background
  • Exposure to Information Security

Information Security - Manchester

I'm working with a leading Financial Services firm who are looking to identify a highly experienced Information Security professional to join on a permanent basis.


Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of the Projects and Change team as opposed to BAU, ensuring Information Security processes are followed.
  • Highlighting the risks involved within change projects i.e. what are the Information Security risks when integrating legacy, new and cloud-based systems.
  • Conduct multiple Risk & Control Assessments including Supplier Due Diligence and Privacy Impact Assessments.
  • Commission Pen Testing, analyse the results and ensure remedial action is taken.
  • Take a consultative approach to Information Security, advising the business on best practices.



Essential:

  • 5 years' experience within Information / IT Security.
  • CISSP qualification (or ability to gain this).
  • Can multitask and manage an ever-changing project workflow.
  • Able to make difficult decisions effectively.
  • Acted as a Lead or Managed a team.
  • Experienced engaging with all levels of the business including Senior Stakeholders.



Desired:

  • Banking background or background in a regulated environment.
