Risk Management Project Manager - Insurance

£50000 - £65000

FourthLine are currently representing our leading General Insurance recruit for Risk Management Change professional into their Second Line function.

Working closely with the Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting risk-based assessments of change initiatives
  • Assessing effectiveness of risk controls and defined processes
  • Drive delivery of change
  • Attend various project and workstream governance
  • Attending and participating in project and workstream level governance meetings
  • Completing deep dive risk assessment activities to assess delivery risk
  • Review and challenge of the identified risks, controls and mitigating actions
  • Provide active support in the management of the oversight of change and risk appetite via various reporting (written and verbal via committees)
  • Working closely with wider op risk and ERM team in relation to change initiatives
  • Promote a strong control culture and general awareness of risk management

We are looking for:

  • Experience as a project manager or programme/workstream lead on a large change programme
  • Expert knowledge and experience using waterfall and/or agile methodologies
  • Change experience within an ERM or Audit environment
  • Financial services, ideally insurance, background
