12 month FTC - Senior Consultant - Compliance Policy

£45000 - £60000

Fourthline are working exclusively with our client, an expanding Risk and Compliance Consulting business to assist with a 12-month FTC within their Compliance Policy and Advisory team at Senior Consultant level. The business supports a number of retail financial services firms manage risk and regulatory compliance issues

Working closely with the Managing Director, Senior Executives and Managers, the senior consultants will be responsible for providing delivery support across a number of projects. You will be required to work from client site and offices in London. The firm’s client base is nationwide, but a large proportion of the work is in London and the South. Projects themselves are very varied and can change following client demands, giving an upcoming compliance or risk consultant exposure to a number of FCA ‘hot topic’ work streams.

Examples of projects the firm are currently supporting clients with include;

  • FCA Authorisations work
  • Provision of regular Compliance Policy support and guidance, including framework design and regular review
  • Design, implementation and embedding of Compliance monitoring plans

This firm are very open to speaking with candidates with various backgrounds as long as there is a definite passion for client delivery and personal development. Although growing, this is a close-knit team and professionals joining the business need to be happy providing support across various disciplines with an eagerness to widen their existing risk and regulatory expertise.

Ideal backgrounds may be any of or a mixture of the following:

  • Existing compliance/risk/regulatory experience from any sized firm working within financial services.
  • Knowledge in sectors including CONC, Insurance, Mortgages or Asset Management, or wider Retail Financial Services
  • Experience advising on Compliance Policies
