Head of Regulatory Change – Contract & Interim

Job Description

FourthLine is growing and we are looking to imprint our based on knowledge value proposition firmly across the Regulatory Change space.  The challenges from a regulatory perspective are ever constant with compliance stakeholders facing implementation challenges around MIFID II, and governance managers are increasingly concerned about cyber security threats from home and abroad. The need for talent and expert Governance, Risk and compliance professionals has never been greater, and FourthLine is looking grow our specialising resourcing service into this sector.  FourthLine has a vision to become the leading provider of Risk & Regulatory driven expertise to UK Financial Services businesses. We have a part to play in the next chapter of the ever evolving regulatory space, and we are now looking for a Head of Regulatory Change to take our “based on knowledge” ethos to the banking community.  The Head of Regulatory Change will lead on strategy, practice establishment, operational management, customer acquisition and development, whilst building a high performance sales team.   

Role purpose

To deliver and grow revenue and achieve profitability within designated market segments through effective people and sales opportunity management, recruitment and strategic client development.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership and delivery of agreed sales revenue and profitability level within a designated market segment
  • Strategic and tactical planning to bring short and long term results and ensure a clear team vision at all times
  • Effective people management to achieve individual and collective revenue goals and monthly sales budgets
  • Win new strategic client relationships within a designated group of accounts to deliver core patch jobs to the team
  • Develop and maintain existing client relationships within a designated group of accounts to deliver core patch jobs to the team
  • Promote and manage the delivery model to ensure maximisation of resources at all times
  • Contribute to the identification of new market opportunities and the development of new sales solutions for the business
  • Promote and maintain a positive and focussed team sales environment
  • Identify and train skill development needs in your team
  • Ownership over recruitment and retention including the ongoing development of key team members through internal promotion and stretch management
  • Ownership of PDP, promotion planning, discipline and performance management across the team
  • Escalation point for commercial issues and complaints
  • Planning, monitoring and analysis on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to drive sales performance
  • Active and influential contributor in sales and management meetings
  • Delivery against agreed management actions and KPIs
  • Act as brand ambassador at all times in both internal and external communications

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable track record of billing achievement in a previous Recruitment position
  • Background in New Business Development and telephone based sales
