Senior Information Risk Security Officer

£50000 - £60000 per annum

FourthLine are working with a leading Financial Services firm who are looking for an Information Risk professional to join their Information Security projects team in Greater Manchester, Suffolk or Surrey.
The role will sit in the Second Line of Defence and oversee the Group's project work from an Information Risk perspective. I am looking for a passionate Information Risk professional who can liaise with the wider business and work to mitigate risk.
Day to day responsibilities:

  • Work on different project teams to analyse key risks and propose risk treatment options.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative risk assessments on projects and initiatives.
  • Identify, evaluate and document the design, execution and effectiveness of the projects internal controls.
  • Perform Risk and Control Assessments (RCA's).
  • Support team in internal and external audits as necessary,
  • Work closely with Senior Stakeholders to effectively achieve the business goals whilst mitigating risk.

What I am looking for:

  • An Information Risk professional who has over 5 years' experience in Risk.
  • Someone with strong project or consultancy experience within Financial Services.
  • An effective communicator who easily discusses the specifics of Information Security with a business mind.
  • Experience with PCI-DSS, Cloud Security and Secure Development Life Cycle.

Salary: £60,000

Senior IT Security Officer

FourthLine are working with a leading Financial Services firm who are looking to build out their Information Security projects team in Greater Manchester, Surrey or Suffolk.
The Senior IT Security Officer will act as a subject matter expert within the business and manage a wide range of business and technical controls.
Day to day:

  • Support project teams on the implementation of security measures from start to end.
  • Support Information Security risk assessments and advise on control methods.
  • Design, deliver and build processes to ensure controls remain sufficient through all projects.
  • Work closely with the Security team to reduce the risk of Information Security.
  • Advise the business on information requirements that affect the IT environment in Agile settings.

What I am looking for:

  • An Information Security professional who has 5 years' hands on experience within Financial Services or Professional Services.
  • Awareness of the commercial imperatives of the business whilst delivering Security solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work within a team and develop strong relationships with all levels of the business.
  • A developer background.

Salary: up to £60,000.
