Job Description

Project Manager - Buy-Side - Investment Manager - Funds - Fund Structuring - TOMs

My client is a London based investment manager with around 0.5 trillion AUM. The firm have grown significantly over the last 3 years and following acquisitions and consolidation they are looking to launch a number of new funds.

They are looking for an experienced buy-side Project Manager to join the firm. They are offering in addition to an excellent base, benefits including;

Uncapped bonus (40-50% typically for people at this level)

Non-contributory pension (>10%)

Private Medical

If you have experience of designing target operating models and managing change from inception to testing in a buy-side environment, you may be a strong candidate for this role.

A knowledge of fund structuring is important for this role, so a strong project manager with a background in operations or fund accounting is desirable.

The main duties are outlined below:

Project Manager

  • Project planning and monitoring
  • Management of project risks and dependencies
  • Assisting business Operational workstream leaders to construct and monitor plans
  • Own and manage project budgets
  • Act as a cross Operational workstream contact
  • Construct presentations and status reports
  • Present solutions to external parties
  • General support to the project team
  • Manage external partners and suppliers
  • Construct full businesses cases
  • Define project scopes and deliverables
  • Design and construct business operating models
  • Explore market infrastructures
  • Lead fee negotiations – where required
  • Lead Legal negotiations – where required
