FourthLine are looking to recruit a Risk Analyst on behalf of our Life Insurance client based in Central London. As a result of growth within the team we are looking for someone to support the Head of Risk in the general day to day running of the department including identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of risks.
Key responsibilities of the role will include, conducting risk analysis and control assurance activities, follow up and reporting of risk incidents, maintenance of risk registers, complex ad-hoc reviews as requested, provision of written and quantitative reports to senior management and risk committee in addition to working closely with the business identifying data for KRI’s and risk reports.
Suitable candidates will ideally have:
- A number of years’ worth of experience working within a Risk Management function of a Life Insurance business, however applicants from other areas within General Insurance are welcomed to apply.
- Wider Financial Services experience would be considered. We are looking for candidates with a solid understanding of loss reporting, some experience following up risk incidents, the ability to update or add information to a risk register in addition to the general understanding of the role of a traditional risk management function.
- Candidates should be comfortable working within a small team and willing to roll their sleeves up with the day to day responsibilities of the role.
- The ability to build relationships across all levels of stakeholders is essential.
