FourthLine are currently working with a client based in London who are looking for a Project Manager to support a large scale Finance Transformation Programme.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Agile Project Management experience (preferably gained in the public sector)
  • Strong knowledge across all pillars of Finance including R2R, P2P and O2C
  • Strong experience using/implementing ERP Finance systems (preferably Oracle)
  • An accountancy background, ideally with an accounting qualification
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge senior level stakeholders
  • A background in the public sector would be beneficial but not essential

Legal Director

£120000 - £135000 per annum

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Legal Director to join the London office of a multi-national Social Media and Marketing Management firm who have worked with some of the world's most well-known brands.

The role is based in their London office, with the successful candidate acting as the sole counsel for that office, and to build a team beneath them. The role will support the operations in the EMEA region and also deal with the company's global legal team.

The Role:

  • Manage the legal function in the EMEA region
  • Draft and negotiate all forms of company contracts, including SaaS agreements.
  • Provide training to the sales and services teams on processes, compliance and new legislation
  • Due diligence and integration of acquisition targets in coordination with other departments

The Person:

  • Will have at least 7 years PQE with strong experience in a software/technology company, preferably with an international company.
  • Strong experience managing a legal team.
  • Have success working with sales teams in customer negotiations
  • Have an in-depth understanding of contract law and software contract requirements and strong skills in negotiating SaaS agreements.
  • Understand and experience of privacy laws, in particular GDPR.
  • Fluency in another European language would be an added bonus!
  • Excellent organisational skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills, with great attention to detail, common sense and a sense of humour
  • Ability and drive to learn quickly.
  • Experience of social media would also be a bonus!

Information Governance Officer

Up to £38000 per annum

A unique healthcare organisation based in the City of London are looking to hire their new Information Governance Officer on a 2-year FTC to assist their DPO. Paying up to £38,000 with great working from home options, this Not-For-Profit organisation works alongside the Healthcare sector.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the DPO in drafting and amending various policies and procedures as well as documentation and contracts;
  • Responding to any information requests and subject access requests as well as devising a more efficient process of completing any further requests;
  • Providing any ad-hoc advice needed internally and to any 3rd parties on data protection and the GDPR;
  • Manage the Information Asset Register and monitor the internal compliance.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

  • Some years working in a data protection or information governance focused role;
  • Some years of hands-on data protection experience handling information requests;
  • Good communication skills and build good relationships with senior members of staff;

In summary, the successful candidate will be a good communicator with clear, detailed knowledge and experience around data protection, GDPR and wider information risk.

Global Privacy Lead - 12 Month Fixed term

£90000 - £115000 per annum

I'm working with a Global organisation who are looking to identify a Global Privacy Lead to join on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Data Protection laws under GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act.
  • Provide support across the business on Legal Negotiations with Third Party Suppliers and Clients.
  • Advise on Third party Data Sharing Agreements.
  • Conduct Data Privacy Impact Assessments and monitor outcomes of those completed.
  • Review, update and implement Data Protection & Privacy Policies and Procedures.
  • Monitor any breaches of the DPA and ensure the appropriate remedial action is taken.

Essential:

  • At least 5 years hands-on experience on Data Protection & Privacy.
  • Previous experience of Negotiating contract clauses.
  • Understanding of UK and European/Global Data Privacy legal requirements.
  • Must have been working on a GDPR in their current role.
  • Comfortable managing both the Strategic and hands-on Operational pieces.

Desired:

  • A qualified lawyer.
  • Personable and takes a pragmatic approach to Privacy.

Location: Mostly Home Based - In Office up to 2 days per week, London & Northamptonshire

Salary: £90,000 - £115,000

Duration: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract
