A data intelligence leader are seeking a new professional to take responsibility of a new area within the team. The Data Protection Manager will act as a trusted advisor within their international network of customers and business units.

You shall be joining a team of privacy professionals across the UK. This role is offering a great scope for progression and opportunity. The chosen professional must be ready to step up to the challenge of working for an international player where data is at the centre of their success.

About the role...

  • Be a trusted advisor, respond to questions and nurture relationships with colleagues, clients and partners.

  • Conduct audits internally and support external audits.

  • Advise your certain arm of the business on different regulatory issues.

  • Ensure data compliance and implement Privacy by Design.

  • Perform Privacy Impact Assessments and lead the necessary actions.

  • Provide compliance training to staff to ensure all team members are aware of what is required and advise on their best practices.

About you...?

  • Worked with, and can confidently provide expert advice on GDPR, DPA, PECR, ePrivacy and other relevant regulations.

  • Has a strong compliance track record within a complex organisation.

  • Ability to understand legal contracts and regulatory requirements.

  • Evidence that you are a quick learner and have an inquisitive nature to uncover the full picture for further investigation and resolution.

  • Ability to persuade and influence others at all levels.
