A multi-billion pound technology organisation, with over 20,000+ staff members across the world, are looking to hire their new Data Protection Officer.

This B2B company, based in North Wiltshire (with excellent flexible working available) are paying up to 60,000 p/a. The successful candidate will initially begin smaller scale by managing their UK data protection requirements with a small team, before developing into the management of the company’s EU privacy requirements, and eventually their global function over time.

This very well invested and well supported GDPR change program has been in operation for a period of time, and the incoming DPO will required to manage their migration from this into a more business-as-usual structure.

You will have…

  • a deep knowledge of data protection, GDPR and other surrounding relevant regulatory requirements;
  • experience working within data management/information risk in a large-scale B2B organisation;
  • the expectation of driving the company’s privacy program throughout the business;
  • communication with senior management and stakeholders regularly;
  • a dynamic approach when viewing what data protection requirements that the company has;
  • the responsibility of being the go-to person for all data protection queries and advice;
  • a team to manage, and expectations over time to grow the team;
  • experience leading an audit program
  • a vision for their future global privacy strategy and will create a roadmap to get to them there.

The successful candidate will be…

  • someone with experience managing a privacy team or can demonstrate that they are ready to manage a team;
  • the subject matter expert on privacy and GDPR;
  • experienced with multiple jurisdictions around the world within a multinational/global company within a privacy role;
  • has a good understanding or how a global privacy function operates;
  • a strong leader of their entire privacy function and has the confidence in their knowledge to make decisions by themselves;
  • open to occasional travel, when required.

I'm looking to find the next Senior Data Privacy Specialist to work for a revolutionary FS business based across North Wiltshire/Swindon area.

This position will be a full-time position as part of a small, but quickly growing, office and will be paying £50,000.

This role will give the successful individual to opportunity to…

  • Work in a highly regulated field as a privacy specialist;

Financial Crime Officer


I am currently working with a London based wealth management firm who are currently looking for a Financial Crime Officer to join their existing team on a permanent basis. Looking to pay around £35,000
The overall role would be focusing on:

  • Implementing financial crime prevention procedures
  • Conducted risk assessment of high-risk
  • Contributing to maintenance and updating of relevant policies and procedures.
  • Reviewing, investigating and implementing actions regarding allegations of Fraud.
  • Conducting reviews



The ideal candidate will have:

  • An ability to liaise and support various stakeholders
  • A good understanding of JMLSG Guidance and connecting AML Legislation
  • Professional Qualification in AML or FC to the level of ICA Advanced Certificate or similar. Or a willingness to study for this qualification where appropriate.
  • A good understanding of the overall responsibility of Financial Crime and its impact on different areas of the business.

Group Data Protection Manager

FourthLine are working with an Insurance company who are looking for a Data Protection Manager to join the firm at Group level in Oxfordshire.

I am seeking an experienced Data Protection Manager to ensure and maintain privacy compliance across the business, providing advice and guidance on all data protection related matters.


Responsibilities:

  • Working with the DPO to develop the privacy function
  • Be the point of contact for any Data Protection queries whether this be with SARs, privacy reviews, DPIA's, recording of processing activities
  • Review any big projects or programmes that require advice from a privacy perspective
  • Review any legal contracts and advise where necessary
  • Assist with data security incidents and breaches
  • Provide Data Protection advise on global information systems
  • Work across functions collaboratively on privacy matters
  • Update any policies, processes in line with GDPR
  • Communication with key stakeholders, reporting on progress


Essential:

  • 2 years data protection and privacy experience
  • Self-starter and able to positively influence people within organisation
  • Experience maintaining a privacy compliance programme


Desired:

  • CIPP/E or CIPM or Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection/Privacy
  • Financial Services experience - favourable although not essential
  • Strong people skills, adaptive to different environments
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Thrive in challenging environment
