Would you like to be the in-house Data Protection Manager for a leading UK law firms?

LOCATION: Manchester / Birmingham / Leeds / Northampton

This law firm has appointed a Data Protection Analyst that shall support the work of the Data Protection Manager across the business. This is a clear indication of the positive compliance culture established across their organisation and they seek a professional that can lead this from a privacy perspective.


  • Coordinate, undertake, review and respond to Subject Access Requests, Data Privacy Impact Assessments and Data Breaches.
  • Be the relationship manager across the business, coordinating with your main colleagues and team members.
  • Liaise with departments to identify the education and training requirements to ensure their is awareness of privacy company wide.
  • Coordinate Privacy Notices, data portability and destruction requests.
  • Design and develop policies and procedures to meet privacy requirements.


  • Experience working at a senior level in a risk and compliance environment.
  • Proven track record delivering processes and projects.
  • Ability to deal with multiple requests and coordinating this across a business.

If you have worked within a legal environment before that would be advantageous to understand the SRA and FCA rules.

Information Governance Analyst

£28000 - £35000 per annum

I'm working with a Global firm who are looking to identify an Information Governance Analyst to join on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on operational role in which you will be providing support to the Information Governance and Records Management teams.


  • Working alongside the Records Management function, lead a team focused on Document Management Governance.
  • Reviewing document movements internally and externally assessing the Risks involved.
  • Responsible for managing Global Intake, Release and Destruction of files.
  • Ensuring correct Document Management & wider Information Governance procedures are followed.
  • Ensures correct Data Retention and Data Disposal procedures are followed.


  • Document Review experience.
  • Has a legal background i.e. Law degree with Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience.


  • Hands-on experience of Document and Records Management systems e.g. iManage, LegalKey, iRM.
  • Hands-on experience of eDiscovery software e.g. Relativity or Eclipse.
  • Has worked with all aspects of Information Governance, mainly Records Management.
  • Has worked within an International/Global organisation - preferably a law firm.

Location: Manchester
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (flexibility dependent on experience)
Duration: Permanent
