A well known insurance broker are looking for a Compliance Monitoring Analyst to join their team in the London office.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract role with a strong possibility that the role will go permanent.

The position will be reporting directly to the Head of Compliance Monitoring and will be responsible for carrying out thematic reviews and compliance based audits.

This is a well established firm with a great reputation and somewhere that looks after its employees. The compliance department is currently well resourced and this a new role to support them through their growth.

Key Requirements:

  • Updating the compliance monitoring plan.
  • Facing off with the advisory team.
  • Modernising aspects of the compliance function
  • Attend meetings regarding the businesses direction and provide input from a compliance perspective.
  • Oversee the client file review process and ensure that the plan has been followed.

Compliance Analyst

A leading Lloyd's insurer is looking to fill an interesting and diverse vacancy within the compliance team.
You will be providing advice and guidance to the business from a regulatory and compliance standpoint. They are looking for someone to work across the business who has strong influencing skills and someone who is able to demonstrate experience of influencing key stakeholders.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have had experience of working within the Lloyd's market. You will also need at least 3 years' experience working in a compliance role.
Key responsibilities will include some of the following:

  • Actively promote and embed a positive risk and compliance culture across the firm
  • Provide advice and guidance to staff in the development and monitoring of operational documents, procedures and computer systems to ensure effective compliance with FCA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with other members of UK Risk & Compliance as appropriate to ensure policies, materials and training take into account any trends identified.
  • Where necessary, carry out the analysis of upcoming regulatory changes and the impact on the firm's policies, procedures & materials liaising with all relevant key stakeholders.
  • Carry out the timely preparation and accurate submission of FCA reporting
  • Maintenance of compliance registers and documents
  • Regular liaison with appropriate regulators (FOS, FCA)
  • Prepare and deliver required compliance reports
  • Ad hoc support to the wider compliance function

Risk Reporting Manager

FourthLine are looking to recruit a Risk Analyst on behalf of our General Insurance client based in Hampshire. As a result of growth within the team we are looking for someone to support the Head of Risk in the general day to day running of the department including identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of risks.

Key responsibilities of the role will include, conducting risk analysis and control assurance activities, follow up and reporting of risk incidents, maintenance of risk registers, complex ad-hoc reviews as requested, provision of written and quantitative reports to senior management and risk committee in addition to working closely with the business identifying data for KRI's and risk reports.

Suitable candidates will ideally have:

  • Some experience within general insurance in a risk, compliance or internal audit role.
  • Wider Financial Services experience would be considered. We are looking for candidates with a solid understanding of loss reporting, some experience following up risk incidents, the ability to update or add information to a risk register in addition to the general understanding of the role of a traditional risk management function.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working within a small team and willing to roll their sleeves up with the day to day responsibilities of the role.
  • The ability to build relationships across all levels of stakeholders is essential.
