A rising boutique consultancy and information services provider which aids businesses with preparation for increasing legislative and regulatory demands on how data is held and processed, along with the detection and response to cyber threats is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their growing team.

The day to day role…

  • Deliver growth opportunities for the business including collating and reviewing lists of potential clients, identifying leads and making initial contact or passing on leads
  • Track all business leads, ensuring follow up has been taken into equation within a suitable time frame
  • Maintain accurate activity records and sales pipeline
  • Maintain relationships with clients and partners
  • Prepare for and attend seminars and events to engage with potential clients, gain insight on emerging trends and potential service offerings

The ideal candidate…

  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Proven sales experience within a professional services environment
  • Experience of business development or relationship sales within the B2B services sectors
  • Information security / Financial services background desirable
  • Excellent presentation, written and communication skills
  • Experience of constructing business proposals and plans for presentation.
  • Experience of developing relationships and generating new opportunities.
  • Knowledge of Financial Services legislation and Data Privacy legislation desirable
