Assistant Compliance Manager - Asset Management
An International Asset Management firm are looking to hire an experienced AML Technical Manager to support the UK Region.
This a Permanent role.
Role: Assistant Compliance Manager
Salary: £75,000 benefits.
Location: South West London
The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional within the Asset Management Compliance industry. The role is mainly UK focused but will be dealing with activity in offshore locations. You will be involved with dealing with all aspects of compliance around Alternative Investment products. This will include taking charge of the compliance monitoring plan.
The role will cover a wide range of responsibilities including implementing the risk-based monitoring programme, financial promotions, assist in providing guidance and evidence to the board that all regulatory matters are being followed. The team itself has a strong bond and the company is looking for someone that is a team player and will pitch in with adhoc projects as required.

Key Skills:

  • Strong COBS, SYSC & FUND knowledge gained in Asset management preferably.
  • Experience developing and implementing procedures to create a sturdy compliance process.
  • Experience dealing with both offshore and local jurisdictions.
  • Proven managerial qualities.
  • Good stakeholder management skills to deal with the board and groups within the company that you will interact with.

£65000 - £80000 per annum

FourthLine are currently recruiting on behalf of a client who is looking for a 1st Line Assurance & Audit Manager.
The role responsibilities include:

  • 1st line sampling across all business lines with testing and reviews of process controls, highlighting control weaknesses and/or non-adherence.
  • SLA and 3rd Party Monitoring.
  • Support for Audits and reviews of CASS /MIFID2 Transaction Reporting, REP 018 and other Regulatory reporting undertaken.

In order to qualify for the role requirements include:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a Middle Office/First Line Assurance Control Role.
  • Previous experience gained in an audit capacity advantageous.
  • Experience of CASS audits including Rules Mapping, Control assessments and general CASS support advantageous.
