Legal Director

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Legal Director to join the London office of a multi-national Social Media and Marketing Management firm who have worked with some of the world's most well-known brands.The role is based in their London office, with the successful candidate acting as the sole counsel for that office, and to build a team beneath them. The role will support the operations in the EMEA region and also deal with the company's global legal team.The Role:Manage the legal function in the EMEA regionDraft and negotiate all forms of company contracts, including SaaS agreements.Provide training to the sales and services teams on processes, compliance and new legislationDue diligence and integration of acquisition targets in coordination with other departmentsThe Person:Will have at least 7 years PQE with strong experience in a software/technology company, preferably with an international company.Strong experience managing a legal team.Have success working with sales teams in customer negotiationsHave an in-depth understanding of contract law and software contract requirements and strong skills in negotiating SaaS agreements.Understand and experience of privacy laws, in particular GDPR.Fluency in another European language would be an added bonus!Excellent organisational skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills, with great attention to detail, common sense and a sense of humourAbility and drive to learn quickly.Experience of social media would also be a bonus!The company offers fantastic benefits including:Great base salary20% bonusGreat pension contributionUnlimited paid holidayFlexibilityIf this position appeals to you and you feel you meet the above criteria, then please get in touch with Aimee Ashworth via email with your CV to arrange a time to talk in more detail at Please also feel free to pass on to your network if you know someone who may be open to discussing confidentially#LI-AA1
