FourthLine were approached by the PMO department of our client, a multinational law firm headquartered in London, due to our experience and knowledge of the PMO sector.
The issue:
The client had plans to expand their change function and increase the capabilities of their small PMO team. As such they engaged FourthLine to resource for a PMO Analyst to sit alongside the PMO Analyst already in place within the team. Where previously the client would have attempted to recruit this role via their internal recruitment team, they came straight to FourthLine with this role knowing of our specialist focus.
Feeling that their central database was dated, the client was looking for a PMO Analyst who could oversee a period of IT transformation, helping to update their current system and support with the firm’s on-going change programmes.
As such they required an expert who had experience of delivering projects within a PMO function, specifically related to IT system updates or process improvements.
The solution:
FourthLine supported the client with some aspects of the brief, advising on salary banding for the role. We swiftly went to our network of PMOs and were able to draw up a shortlist of 5 candidates without the need to advertise the position.
Within a few days FourthLine met with the client, presenting the shortlist of candidates face-to-face. This gave us the opportunity to talk through the different candidates and allay any concerns the client had in terms of skill sets, whilst also gauging the firm’s culture and ensuring that the successful client would be a good fit.
Due to our extensive knowledge of the PMO space and the quality of our network, FourthLine was able to successfully fill the position within two weeks of being contacted by the client, establishing a strong understanding of the client and how they worked.
