Interim remediation assignment

Following an FCA fine due to CASS findings, our client engaged FourthLine in need of an expert hire for an interim remediation assignment along with multiple permanent CASS professionals.

The solution:

FourthLine use a ‘built on knowledge’ approach when working with our clients. This ensures that all of our consultants have an unrivalled and up to date understanding of their specialist fields and that they understand the far reaching impact of regulatory change and its effects on the industry. Because of this we were able to confidently advise our client on how to write a job description to appeal to the sort of candidate they needed, and which effectively reflected their business needs.

Our bespoke core competency framework is updated annually and is designed to provide us with an in-depth understanding of the exact skills and behaviours required by professionals to successfully deliver in a regulatory change assignment. We used this tool to shortlist two of our trusted associates, which were then presented via a face-to-face meeting with the firm’s hiring manager. We managed the interview process smoothly, ensuring our candidates were fully equipped to present their most relevant knowledge and experience to the client. A placement was made within a two-week period, working with both parties to achieve a suitable agreement during the post-interview negotiation stage.

This firm has gone on to recruit a further 11 professionals through FourthLine over the last 10 months ranging from Analyst to Senior Manager.
